Move out time

Move out time is by 10:00 am (unless previously arranged with Shirlington Stay).

To better coordinate our efforts to prepare the unit for the next guest, please fill out our form below.

Regarding keys and parking passes

Upon departing please  leave apartment keys and parking passes on kitchen counter and lock the door handle to secure the apartment.

Regarding mail forwarding

To arrange for mail forwarding, please complete this US Postal Service form.

Regarding trash

Please remove trash on the night before.

*If you are checking out on a Sunday, when there is no trash pickup, please leave the trash in the unit and the staff will come by on Monday to leave it at the curb.

Regarding linens and towels

There is no need to wash the linens or towels upon moveout.

Regarding leftover food

Please dispose of opened perishable items. You may choose to leave unopened items and we will arrange for them to be donated to local food banks or to the maid crew.

Regarding tips for maid crew

If you would like to leave a  tip for the maid crew, please leave a tip on the kitchen counter, preferably in an envelope marked “Tip for Maids”.
